Robin Hood: Men In Tights (1993)

Reviews and Comments

After a creative departure from his movie spoofs with Life Stinks, Mel Brooks returns to his usual with this send-up of Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves and swashbucklers in general. The routine is tired, but many of the jokes manage to be funny in spite of the formula. Not all of them work, but enough do to recommend it to Brooks' fans. While it can't hold a candle to Brooks' earlier work, it's a notch better than its contemporaries.
