Please Don't Eat the Daisies (1960)

Reviews and Comments

David Niven and Doris Day move from Manhattan to the country and try to forge a life for themselves there in this pleasant, amusing (but not hilarious), romantic comedy. Day takes to the quiet life right off, but Niven prefers to mill about in New York high society. Friction mounts, with funny if predictable consequences. See this movie widescreen if possible, or you'll spend half the movie watching people talk to others who aren't in view.
