Reviews and Comments

For those who like films with heart and humor (but minus the dripping sentimentality), One Fine Day is a perfect choice. The leads, Michelle Pfeiffer and George Clooney, bring the script to vibrant life with their dynamic performances. It's a frustrating movie, in two senses -- watching the continual mishaps that turn their "fine day" in to a frenetic nightmare and watching the stars sparring with each other verbally when you know they don't mean an ounce of what's said. And yet, not a moment passes when you're not having fun. In the end you realize the light frustration is one of the main reasons why. Few of today's films are as pleasant or endearing.
