Nothing To Lose (1997)

Reviews and Comments

The energy and charisma projected by co-star Martin Lawrence keeps Nothing To Lose afloat more than it should be expected to. Tim Robbins does all right, but he plays his part rather forgettably. There are several funny scenes but a number of dry spells, too, and one gets the impression it should have been funnier. Steve Oedekerk's plodding direction bogs the movie down and undermines some of the best scenes with misaligned comic timing.
