Love Crazy (1941)

Reviews and Comments

This riotous screwball comedy rarely relents once the stage is set. William Powell gets in to trouble with his wife, Myrna Loy, who then sues for divorce. To postpone the hearing and give him a chance to win her back, Powell pretends to be crazy, buying him at least thirty days for him to be diagnosed. Save for two scenes that drag slightly, the film keeps up a frenetic pace, where Powell is forced to act alternately sane and loony as the swiftly changing situation warrants.
