Laurel and Hardy: Putting Pants On Philip (1927)

Reviews and Comments

Twenty minutes is too long for a one-joke comedy sketch that isn't funny in the first place. Laurel plays a man from Scotland whose kilt attracts attention from Americans the moment he arrives, much to the chagrin of Hardy, who has to take care of him and save face in his hometown at the same time. Not much is (or can be, probably) done with this weak premise.
