A couple of thugs threaten to expose a small western town's judge as an ex-con. When that doesn't work, they try to pin a murder on him. It won't spoil anything to say that Roy Rogers unravels the mystery and outsmarts the badguys. It's a little stilted but no less fun than you could hope a movie like this to be.
