Hostage For a Day (1994)

Reviews and Comments

John Candy's first and last directorial effort isn't terrible, but a better script would have helped. George Wendt stars in this uneven comedy about a man who's life is in shambles, and then...stuff happens. It will likely be most appreciated by those who like black humor -- the tirades Wendt's wife and boss go off on are painfully funny.
