Desert Legion (1953)

Reviews and Comments

Alan Ladd is a member of the Foreign Legion in search of a guerilla leader who keeps ambushing and knocking off legionnaires. He's on a power trip, seeking to take control of the hidden city of Medara.

The makings for an exciting adventure film are all present, but Desert Legion isn't it. It's too bogged down with mechanical dialogue and stiff action scenes. The characters aren't involving; nor, as a consequence, is the film as a whole.
