Bachelor Mother (1939)

Reviews and Comments

Bachelor Mother takes a simple misunderstanding and spins it into a hilarious, tangled comic predicament. The always entertaining Ginger Rogers spies a woman leaving a baby on a doorstep. The woman leaves, and Rogers is found with it and mistaken for the mother. No one believes that it isn't hers, including her boss, who demands that she keep the baby or lose her job. David Niven and Charles Coburn turn in fine supporting performances.
